Email Blast Policy

The HTCA will use its electronic mailing list to send notices to HTCA members (who have provided it with an e-mail address) of Harding Township Committee meetings, Harding Township School Board meetings and at the request of the Chairman of any Township Committee or Board notice of meetings of the Committee or Board.  All requests to publish notices related to the meetings of Committees or Board’s must contain the text of the requested notice.

In addition, HTCA, at its discretion, will use its electronic mailing list to send notices to HTCA members (who have provided it with an e-mail address) of community events of general interest to the public.  Such events must be sponsored by local community groups and non-profit organizations serving Harding Township.  Notices of regularly scheduled meetings and fund raising events will not be published by HTCA e-mail blasts.  All requests to publish notices must contain the text of the requested notice.  Graphics must be in “jpg” format.  Text documents must be in “Word” format.

Any requests to publish notices of political events will not include the Harding Township Civic Association logo and will contain the following disclaimer:

“The HTCA’s mission is to foster an informed and engaged citizenry.  The HTCA is a non-partisan organization which neither endorses nor supports the content of this e-mail nor any candidate or party.”

The HTCA reserves the right to change, modify or rescind this policy at its discretion.
