Join us on Memorial Day for the Annual Harding Memorial Day Parade, kicking off promptly at 9:30 AM, Monday morning, May 29th. Children are encouraged to decorate their bikes, scooters and wagons in red, white and blue streamers for the bike decorating contest. The parade honors veterans who have died in service to their country and all veterans, particularly our Harding Veterans. Everyone is encouraged to participate there will be numerous civic and township organizations to march with in the parade.
After the parade there will be ceremony honoring our veterans and a laying of the memorial wreath to honor those veterans who gave their lives in service to our Country. During the ceremony, weather permitting, there will be a fly over by a Black Hawk helicopter, which will
land at Harding School after the ceremony. Following the ceremony, there will be hot dogs and ice cream at the Firehouse. The Tunis-Ellicks House will be open for residents to learn more about the history of the Township, and Great Brook Gallery will be open featuring the work of local artists.
