Need Volunteers for Centennial Committee

Message from the Mayor:

In 2022, less than four short years from now, Harding will celebrate its centennial year, marking 100 years since our forefathers separated from Passaic Township and formed a new community, naming it after the then-President of the United States, Warren G. Harding.

The year-long recognition and celebration of a such a milestone will involve all of Harding’s residents, clubs, groups and organizations.  Planning, organizing, managing and coordinating the celebration should get underway before the end of this year.  The Township Committee is beginning the process of putting the Centennial Committee together and wants to solicit volunteers to serve.  The first order of business will be to appoint a chair, followed by building out the committee with volunteers representing all of the clubs and organizations in town.  Your help is needed to make Harding’s Centennial a year to remember!

If you would like to volunteer please go to the town’s website, www.hardingnj.org, and click on “Centennial Committee Volunteer Form.”  You’ll be able to fill out and submit a volunteer form.  If you have any questions or suggestions, you can send an email to [email protected].

Let’s make this a grand celebration!
